يهتم البرنامج بتخريج مهندس متخصص في هندسة الحاسبات، قادر على تطوير البرمجيات وضمان جودتها، والتعامل مع الحوسبة السحابية، والحوسبة المتنقلة، والأنظمة المدمجة، وشبكات المعلومات وأمنها. ويمكن للطالب اختيار أحد المسارات التالية:
يهتم البرنامج بإعداد خريجين متخصصين في مجال الحاسبات والمعلومات قادرين على تطوير البرمجيات وبناء نظم المعلومات والتعامل مع نظم دعم القرار، وعلم البيانات، والرسم بالحاسب. يمكن للطالب اختيار أحد المسارات التالية.
1. تحليل البيانات الضخمة:
يهتم المسار بإعداد كوادر قادرة على تجهيز البيانات الضخمة واستخراج المعلومات والمعارف منها وتوزيع معالجة البيانات الضخمة على خوادم متعددة وتجميع النتائج منها.
2. الرؤية بالحاسب:
يهتم المسار بإعداد كوادر قادرة على معالجة الصور الرقمية ورفع جودتها وإنشاء برمجيات وأنظمه الرؤية بالحاسب وصيانتها وإنشاء نظم التعرف على الأنماط ودمجها بأنظمة الوسائط المتعددة التفاعلية والواقع المختلط والمعزز.
3. هندسة البرمجيات
يهتم المسار بتخريج كوادر قادرة على إنشاء أنظمة المعلومات وأنظمة دعم اتخاذ القرار وتطوير البرمجيات المستخدمة في النظم المدمجة والموزعة.
