The Mufti of Egypt participates in the annual Ramadan iftar with students from New Mansoura University

In the presence of Professor Dr. Shawqi Ibrahim Allam, the Mufti of Egypt, and the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the General Secretariat for the role and fatwa bodies in the world.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Moawad Al-Kholy, President of New Mansoura University, New Mansoura University organized a group breakfast on the campus of the university today. The university president invited all the university’s members to breakfast, including students, faculty members, and the university’s administrative staff. The university’s president praised this good annual custom that brings together the university’s members. New Mansoura University in the holy month of Ramadan, which is a one-family meeting for the third year in a row. It brought together various colleges and their sectors with the aim of strengthening social relations between officials, students and workers, away from the daily routine of study and work and within an atmosphere of love, familiarity and friendliness.

During the group breakfast ceremony, His Eminence the Mufti expressed his happiness at his presence among his students, and his keenness to eat breakfast with them during the month of Ramadan, stressing that religious and social events, especially group Iftar meetings, are a valuable opportunity to enhance the spirit of solidarity and interconnectedness among students within the university, and to build bridges of communication. Among them, which reflects positively on their educational, cultural and social experience in general and university in particular.

Al-Khouli pointed out that iftar during the blessed month is one of the occasions that contribute to creating a positive social environment and strengthening the bonds of love and brotherhood among all university members. During His Excellency’s meeting with the students, they emphasized providing an appropriate atmosphere for the students, especially since it coincides with the beginning of the mid-term exams of the second semester.
