The report indicated that the new Mansoura University began studying there during the current academic year 2021/2022, and the International Legal Transactions Building was completed, which accommodates all the study programs that were opened this year, as well as the completion of coordinating the work of the public site, equipping laboratories, drawing galleries, classrooms and furniture University housing, while the construction work on the rest of the university buildings continues according to predetermined schedules.
The university witnessed an inspection visit by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of a group of leaders of the ministry and the governorate and a number of university presidents, to follow up on the ongoing operational work at the university, and inspect the facilities and buildings of the colleges. The minister also met with a number of university students and faculty members to determine the level of educational and research service presented to them, and also inspected an exhibition of innovations implemented by university students, in which they participated in a number of local and international competitions.
The report added that studying at the university depends on the application of interactive study systems and smart systems, where the student can access the system from anywhere, and get all the teaching and learning resources available on the university platform, and the university has contracted with the company "Magruhl" so that students can benefit from scientific resources The university also participated in the publication of many scientific researches in the "Scopus" database.
The university signed several cooperation protocols, including: signing a cooperation protocol with the University of Quebec in Canada, and the Alliance of Smart Private Universities, which includes, in addition to New Mansoura University, the universities (Al-Galala, Al-Alamein International, and King Salman International), in partnership with the Arab Organization for Industrialization and Siemens International; To enhance scientific and academic cooperation between the four universities, to conduct research activities and joint academic programs, provide professional and training development for students of those universities, organize activities in the field of digital transformation, and maximize the outputs of basic and applied research by facilitating the movement of students and academics within the alliance, as the university signed Several cooperation protocols with Mansoura University, the Egyptian Space Agency, and Shoman Engineering Industries Company in the industrial zone in Gamasa, as well as signing a cooperation protocol with the Electronic and Knowledge Services Center at the Supreme Council of Universities to grant a certificate for the basics of digital transformation, and agreement is underway to sign a number of cooperation protocols with a number of Prestigious international universities, including (University of East London, North Carolina, USA, British University of Nottingham, and Tuskegee University in Alabama, USA) to exchange experiences and workshops, provide practical training for students and grant dual degrees.
In the context of the interest in organizing various workshops and training, the university held a workshop in the field of civil protection for university employees, and a workshop for Siemens International; To enhance awareness and raise human resources capabilities to keep pace with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a workshop on the importance of developing students’ language abilities, a training course on the principles of first aid, and a scientific symposium on the Industrial Revolution, and the College of Dentistry organized a scientific day on how to preserve teeth, methods of prevention and treatment The College of Medicine organized a campaign to raise awareness of obesity problems, and the College of Engineering organized an event to present students with ideas for their graduation projects. the bones.
As part of the interest in student activities, the university organized competitions in memorizing the Noble Qur’an, a five-a-side football league, and a volleyball league, in addition to the university’s participation in the International Forum for Higher Education and Scientific Research, which was held during the period from 8 to 10 December 2021, in the Administrative Capital.
