The New Mansoura University nursing freshmen excel on their first day of practical training at Mansoura University Hospitals

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Moawad Mohamed El-Khouly, President of the New Mansoura University, and the care of Prof. Dr. Hala El-Marsafawy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and supervisor of the Faculty of Nursing at the New Mansoura University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Suad Hassan Abdel Hamid. The first-year students of the Faculty of Nursing at the New Mansoura University began their practical training for the adult nursing course at the Mansoura University Hospitals within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the New Mansoura University and the Mansoura University Hospitals in the field of training. The students displayed an outstanding level of performance on their first day, and everyone praised the students’ commitment. The practical training included the application of many basic skills such as measuring vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration), blood sugar level measurement, patient monitoring, administering injections of various types, cannula insertion, and sample collection, all to maximize the benefit by linking the theoretical aspect with the practical application of what is taught at the college.
