New Mansoura Engineering students qualify in the EVER Egypt Rally Competition for Electric Vehicles

New Mansoura Engineering students qualify for the shortlist to participate in the dynamic track in the Electric Vehicle Rally Competition EVER EGYPT Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Moawad Mohamed Al-Kholy, President of New Mansoura University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Wael Siddiq, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering - New Mansoura University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sarah Al-Bahloul, Director of Engineering Programs, a team of students from the Faculty of Engineering conducted the Mechatronics Engineering and Engineering Programs. The Faculty of Aerospace and Aviation were qualified and included in the shortlist to participate in the dynamic track in the EVER EGYPT Electric Vehicle Rally Competition in its fifth season, among 27 teams out of teams from all Egyptian universities and institutes and some regional and international universities, provided that the final activities of the competition will be held in July 2024. The competition is an electric car rally initiative, for which the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the opening of applications for its fifth season last January for Egyptian universities and institutes and regional and international universities, with the final events of the competition being held in July 2024. Egyptian cadres are able to manufacture a locally made Egyptian passenger car, by creating an encouraging environment to support the design and manufacture of cars, and providing technical support to the teams participating in the competition. The Dean of the College added that the competition aims to increase the ability of engineers in the electric car industry and that the main goal of this competition is to create more graduates in multidisciplinary engineering with the knowledge and practical skills necessary in designing, manufacturing and operating electric cars. His Excellency the University President praised the qualified team, explaining that such competitions are necessary to create the human resources necessary to move the electric car industry in Egypt, as enabling the electric car industry in Egypt can achieve a significant positive impact on the sustainable development strategy of Vision 2030.
