New Mansoura University

University Council

New Mansoura University shall have a council based on its academic activity and the conduct of its scientific, educational, research and community affairs. It implements the decisions of the Board of Trustees. It issues the necessary decisions to control the technical and administrative performance of the university and its study and research plans.
The University Council shall be formed by the Chancellor as the Chairman, and the membership of the University counselor appointed by a decision of the Minister of Higher Education, Vice-Chancellors of the University, Deans of Faculties, and Managers of Research Units. In the event that the University Chancellor is absent from the meeting, the most senior deputy of his/ her deputies shall act on its behalf. The Council may include members of a number of public figures who are experienced in University education and scientific research.
